I started my hockey career as a part of the team HC Dukla Jihlava. With juniors, I won a silver medal from the Czech Republic Championship, held in Třebíč.
In the 1995/96 season, I played in the Ice Hockey Extraleague for the first time. For a period of about ten years, when I was working for Dukla in Jihlava, I guested in the SK Horácká Slávia Třebíč team, with whom we made our way to the First League promotion and at the same time managed to make it to the Czech Republic junior national team in the category of up to 20 years of age in the season 1995-96. Then I guested in HC ZPS Barum Zlín.
In 2003 I transfered to the team HC Slovan Ústí nad Labem where I kept the number one goalkeeper position. In the season of 2004/2005 I have not received a goal for 247 minutes in a row and had 11 shutouts. The following season HC Slovan advanced into the promotion for the Extraleague, but have lost to HC Vsetín.
Over the course of three seasons in Ústí nad Labem, I played several games for HC Energie Karlovy Vary. In the 2006/07 season I transfered to the Karlovy Vary hockey club. In that season I helped Energie to advance to the first round of playoffs, where I was the number one goalkeeper for the team. In the next season of 2007/08 I played 17 games for HC Energie Karlovy Vary. We fought our way to the play-off finals for the first time in the clubs history and became the runner-up ELH champions.
The next season of 2008/2009 was my greatest success so far. With HC Energie we won the gold medal and became the ELH champions in a re-run of the previous finals against Slavia Praha. In the next two seasons until 2011, I played 39 games. In Karlovy Vary I was led by goalkeeper coach Pavel Kněžický. 2011/2012 I guested for a short time in Znojmo, then I played in 11 games for HKM Zvolen in the highest Slovak competition and at the end of the season I returned back to Karlovy Vary. In 2012 I transfered to HC Mountfield České Budějovice, where Roman Turek took care of the goalkeepers. Unfortunately, the fracture of a collarbone after a puck hit me, brought complications and I had to undergo surgery. I returned to my parent club Dukla Jihlava in 2013 and I work there until now also thanks to the cooperation with the goalkeeper coach Petr Jaroš.
In recent years I have also been active in coaching, which I would like to devote myself to after my active player career ends. I am in charge of the goalkeepers in Ledeč nad Sázavou.
